Eight of Swords

Eight of Swords-Victim, Fear, Misconception, Crises, Punishment, Blame, Unfocused, Confusion, Crises, Punishment, Blame, Feeling of being trapped, Thinks there is no way out.

It is a card of ‘choice’ tells of both known and unknown fears that keep one powerless and unable to move away or out of a negative situation.

Symbols

She almost loses her balance. She is blindfolded and bound into the sea. Her mind is numb with terror and she cries. Rock pool below her feet seems deeper. Her feet have grown numb with cold, wet and lack of movement but she cannot afford to take a step. Her feet are not tied. She can move her feet because they are so close to the water (her emotions).

She can feel her way slowly and sense what is around her blindfold are just material bond. There is a belief that you have no options you are stuck in a situation you can’t get out.

Mud- An image of humiliation and shame.

Rope- Binding, restriction.

A lady has a blindfold in her eyes, not want to see anything caught in her eyes, not want to see anything, caught in her own thoughts. Her feet doesn’t touch water, it indicates that feeling of being restricted in the eight of swords is based on an intellectual assessment of the situation and not emotional one.

Blindfold- Confusion, Isolation, from others people in similar situation.

Castle at the back- Deals with goals, it is also symbol of obtaining our desires with the whole community.
